This project involved working with GE electrics, in designing a control room located in New Horizons building at Monash University Clayton, Melbourne.
Biomicro takes the spatial sequence from the micro structure of wood. The alternate spaces located in the New Horizons control area echo the dynamic nature and biological forms of wood at a macro scale.
The proposal includes; ceiling lighting, acoustics and screens, a control room and work stations, stools, desks and mobile storage units.
The workstations, desks, stools and storage units are modular to be adaptable to several working environments and scenarios.
